Mahmoud Al-Khawaja
Chief Executive Officer & Director

Prior to founding Capintro Partners, Mr. Al-Khawaja started and managed the Middle East division of Asset Alliance Corporation from 2004-2007. During this time he was active in the multi-manager, single manager and structured products businesses within the firm focusing on the institutional and high net worth market in the GCC and greater Levant region. Prior to Asset Alliance, Mr. Al-Khawaja was a member of various Middle East teams at select investment banks (including Lehman Brothers) where he developed relationships with institutional clients, servicing their needs for both traditional portfolios and alternative investments.  Mr. Al-Khawaja has also been responsible for leading and coordinating the effort of these teams into various countries throughout the region.  Mr. Al-Khawaja has a Bsc in Economics & Finance with a minor in Computer Information Systems as well as a Masters of Science in Finance from Bentley College, Waltham, MA.

 
 

Basil Salah
Associate Vice President

Prior to joining the sales team at Capintro Partners, Mr. Salah was a Senior Relationship Manager at Strategic Financial Group where he oversaw the incorporation of alternative investments as well as overall wealth management solutions for the firm’s institutional and high networth clients.  Throughout his professional career, Mr. Salah worked at various investment banks including Merrill Lynch and UBS where he consulted and advised clients on asset allocation, product selection and effective risk management strategies.  Mr. Salah joined Capintro Partners, from the US where he developed and maintained an extensive client base encompassing institutional and high net worth clients in both the GCC and greater Levant region.  Mr. Salah graduated from the University of Michigan with a BA in Economics and has an MBA in Finance with a focus on International Business from New York University.

 
 

Rita Jivani
Senior Client Services & Office Manager

Mrs. Rita Jivani joined Capintro as a Senior Client Services and Office Manager in 2007 from a private family office. At the family office, Mrs. Jivani handled the administrative components and back office for all the investments within the family office including mutual funds as well as equity and fixed income investments.
